I bought this webcam for my Speech class, and to upgrade from my old crappy webcam. Pros: * The software that comes with Logitech C615 is actually fairly good. It has some good features such as motion recording, and face tracking. * 1080P (I'm not sure if it is true 1080P, but it still looks great). Sample of 1080P (I recorded the video review in 720P to showcase features): * The mount lets you mount to your monitor bezel, or laptop, and 360 degree rotation around said mount. * Microphone is actually not that terrible. You may want to learn to how extract the audio track though, and clean up the audio using something like audacity.
Cons: * Using 1080P limits the features in the Logitech recording software such as face tracking, and maybe other things. I have no idea. Overall I really like this webcam for the quality, price, and form factor.
I haven't used this beyond a day and I normally wait awhile to write a review but I wanted to get this up here now since there seems to be some confusion about this working with Mac Computers. This camera works without the driver automatically within the apps of Skype and Facetime if you select the C525 cam and mic in the Preferences of those programs. But what you really want to do is go online and download a driver since with it the quality isn't that good as most of that is managed by the driver.
Even though the C525 doesn't have a driver download on it's product page, the drivers for Logitech's webcams are interchangeable so you can go to [.] then click on Webcams, then click on the model HD Webcam C615, select your Mac OS operating system and download the driver. Once it downloads you just double. Yes this camera has a flimsy mount, but that doesn't concern me at this price. It has three properties I have not found together in one camera (four if you count low price): 1. Works with V4L 2.

The lens is not exactly Nikon quality -- there's a fair bit of purple fringing and some barrel distortion, but nothing to complain about in a low cost product. It's just general incompatibility on Windows 10 when using Skype. Had no problems using the webcam with Skype on a second computer that has Windows 8 on it. It was just a let down since I purchased this webcam specifically for a computer that had Windows 10 and no webcam built in. UPDATE: Lin from the iRush Customer Service team reached out to me to help me troubleshoot the device. It was determined that the device I received was faulty and did not work as intended. I was sent a replacement, and the replacement works perfectly! I am very impressed by the superb service!
The product itself is a great value I think for what I paid. It works with my. I don't think it's HD or auto focus, but it's really nice for the price; actually, it's exactly what I was expecting. Has good quality of image, good enough just for video calls and stuff. In my case, it's not auto focus, but I just moved/rotated the lens until it gets sharp. The mic sound a little with echo, like if you were inside a box; but this is just a normal thing to happen when the mic is inside the cam.
Also, I really loved the cloth sheath that came with it! I wasn't expecting that and I think it's lovely; I think I would use it to carry a power bank I also bought.
