Sorry to be such a dolt, but I don't get it. I don't see anything explaining in the iPhone5 manual really how to get the videos you shoot in the phone into your Mac (in my case an iMac). I have iCloud, I have a photo stream. IPhoto does not make any of my videos show up.

Didn't anyone else know this??? Anyway, I opened Image Capture and plugged in my iPhone 5 to my Mac using the usb cord and I was able to very easily import to my Mac all the iPhone 5 photos and movies. It was very easy and nothing to buy or download. I feel very dumb not to have found this in the first place. It's what I get for always trusting people with every gimmick or sly sales pitch I read about. By the way, my videos are of much much better quality imported from Image Capture than they are from iStonSoft. And there is no problem with the sound either.

On the imported video from iStonSoft, there is a lot of breaking up of what you see and the sound. I don't recommend it at all. So try Image Capture 🙂 already on your Mac in the Application file and save yourself $30.93 (ouch!) 😟.

I can't seem to edit my previous reply, so I will add to it here. Within a few minutes after I used Image Capture, I contacted iSonSoft and told them what I did, and I asked for a refund. The next day which is a Sunday, they emailed me and very nicely said they would refund my money. They are a good company to deal with as far as refunding my money and getting back to me quickly on a holiday weekend. By the way, I also am a bit surprised that Apple Support didn't catch this and recommend Image Capture since it is on their own Mac and that's what it's for.
