Quickbooks Rental Property Manager For Mac

I have several buy & hold properties. I am not a professional in any real estate area, learning as I go. I have enough properties that I need to become more organized on records keeping and overall management. I started with Quicken Rental Property manager and soon realized this is a toy of limited value for me. I downloaded and I am trying to set up QuickBooks Online.

Setting up Quickbooks Online for Renting / Landlords. I'm new to quickbooks, and accounting. So please don't hit me with the stupid stick! If you want to track the lawn service expense per property, that is usually done with classes, but again in QBO that is a steep jump in the subscription to get classes, you could also create a parent.

I purchased the 'How to use QuickBooks for Rental Properties' for about $100 from Jonathan Wolter, but found that this was not written for QBO. Does anyone know of any good documentation to help a non-accountant setting this up. Yes, I am aware I can hire an accountant; yes I am aware that I could switch to the older version of Quickbooks. Neither are what I am asking. I need to understand this process and want to learn but need some better reference material.

A great feature of QBO is that my credit cards and bank accounts assigned to my rental property LLC link and automatically push transactions in daily. After 5 years of using QBO for my primary business (financial-planning firm) and 3 years using it for my real estate LLC, I'm thinking about going to the desktop version for my rentals. I have 24 SFH's that I own.so I am not a property manager, however it just seems that there is more that I can get from the desktop version and track more tenant info as well.
